The year 1990 was one of the memorable ones for Little as he won several tournaments, such as the 1990 British Open and made his way rapidly to the top of the British player ratings.
Little won the honour of the World Championship Runner-up in 1993 and the World Masters Runner-up in 1998. As far as his best performances in PDC Premier Events are concerned, Little has been the World Championship Semi-finalist in 1999 as well as 2003; World Matchplay Runner-up in 1997 & 2000 and World Grand Prix Winner in 2001.
